Gamefests are our official tournaments, running from the local government level to the international level. Beyond the thrills of the competition, Gamefests are evangelistic opportunities that bring Christians together, they also enable Christian politicians and community leaders at all levels to participate and seek leadership based on Christ and His principles.

Tournament Matches

Godly 9 can be a serious and strategic board game that encourages players to analyse, strategise, and prepare in advance by memorising scripture verses. It is our choice for ranked tournaments. Players take calculated risks and aim to secure a strong advantage.
Tournament play emphasises strategic thinking and optimal decision-making. Strict adherence to the official rules is essential. Gamemasters may implement additional rules or clarifications to ensure fairness.

Tournaments commence at local level, with champions emerging from in-house competitions held at participating churches, schools, and faith-based organisations. These champions then progress through the ranks, with winners emerging at local government, state (chapter), and national levels.

Novelty Matches

Gamefests also feature casual matches played with the Christizen board game. Representatives from political parties, Christian community leaders, and captains of industry are invited to participate. While these non-tournament matches are more relaxed and require little to no preparation, they provide an opportunity for community leaders to reflect on God's expectations for good governance.

Patrons

One significant way God provides for the Gamefests is through donations from patrons and sponsors. This support helps underprivileged churches, schools, and faith-based organisations meet the criteria to become games nodes, allowing them to participate in ranked tournaments. Sponsors also fund tournaments at all levels and provide prizes for winners.
